Thermocouple alloy and junction selection
Pressure Guage: Match thermocouple type, polarity and extension cable to the controller input. Select protection-tube material and grounded or ungrounded junction for the atmosphere, electrical noise and response required.
Define insertion depth and the mechanical support at the process connection. A temperature stated in a product name needs confirmation for the complete probe assembly, cable transition and continuous duty.

Definition and Working Principle
A stainless steel pressure gauge is a mechanical pressure measuring instrument where the wetted parts and case are mostly made of stainless steel (such as 304, 316/316L). Its core component is the Bourdon tube: when the pressure of the medium acts on the tube, it causes elastic deformation, which is amplified by a gear transmission mechanism to drive the pointer to indicate the pressure value on the dial. For vibration-resistant models, glycerin or silicone oil is filled inside to dampen vibration and cushion shocks.

Key Selection and Range Principles
Medium: Corrosive media → 316L; viscous/crystallizing media → diaphragm type; pulsating pressure → vibration-resistant liquid-filled model with 1.5~2x range.
Range: For stable pressure, select a full scale 1.5 times the working pressure, not exceeding 2/3 of the full scale; for pulsating pressure, ≤1/2 of the full scale; for high pressure, ≤3/5 of the full scale.
Accuracy Class: 1.6 is common for industrial use; 1.0 or 0.5 for precision control. Operating temperature range: -40~80°C; high-temperature models require heat-resistant seals and elements.
Connection: M20×1.5 (metric), G1/2, NPT1/4 (imperial/American).
Application Areas
Petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, marine, power generation, refrigeration, and printing and dyeing. It is especially suitable for scenarios with corrosion, vibration, and high hygiene requirements, replacing ordinary copper alloy pressure gauges.
VI. Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation: Avoid direct sunlight, vibration sources, and strong electromagnetic interference. For diaphragm gauges, ensure the fill fluid is compatible with the medium. Mount vertically to ensure accuracy.
Calibration: Regularly calibrate at a metrology institute (usually annually; shorten the interval for harsh conditions).
Daily Use: Strictly prohibit overpressure operation. If the pointer enters the yellow/red zone, troubleshoot immediately. Regularly inspect seals and appearance in corrosive environments.
