Thermocouple alloy and junction selection
K-Type Thermocouple: Match thermocouple type, polarity and extension cable to the controller input. Select protection-tube material and grounded or ungrounded junction for the atmosphere, electrical noise and response required.
Define insertion depth and the mechanical support at the process connection. A temperature stated in a product name needs confirmation for the complete probe assembly, cable transition and continuous duty.
